Tanzanian Community in Ontario (TCO) is non profit Organization. We are supporting newcomers, advocates for community rights and interests, and a show connection with other communities in Canada.

Our mission is to connect all Tanzanians and to connect them to the resources available in Canada and outside Canada.

To promote Tanzanian Culture and Heritage in Canada. We strongly empower Tanzanians to become active and engaged members of society.

We are building the connection between the Tanzanian community and other communities within and outside of Canada.

Main Objectives

To promote and preserve Tanzanian culture and heritage within the Tanzanian Community in Canada. Through Educatio and Culture events, language class, Immigration assistance.

To provide referral to various resources available for assistance with settlement, language learning ,job search, and other available services.

03.

To advocate for the rights and interests of the Tanzanian Community in Canada.

04.

To engage , support, and empower the Tanzanian Community in Canada through education and training programs and mentorship opportunities.

Our Programs

Education & Training Programs

We promote and empower Tanzanians through education and training programs, mentorship opportunities, and referrals to various resources in Canada.

Back to School Programs

We support Tanzanian students and families by providing essential school supplies, helping out of school children return to school, and addressing academic, behavioural, and emotional needs for supported students.

Housing & Settlement Program

We help newcomers and refugees with house search, orientation to local services, help with rental applications, and guidance on tenants’ rights and responsibilities to promote long-term stability and integration.
